Constructed with a high thread count, our 100% Cotton Sateen Fabric is designed to offer a superior finish and ensure minimal-to-zero shrinkage during the first wash.
While many fabrics have a basic calendered finish cotton sateen fabric has been specially processed using the Schreiner finishing techniques. This lines up all the surface threads to improve opacity, handle and appearance plus give an additional vibrancy and radiance.
Lovely to handle and fantastic quality this fabric is ideal for dyeing (using the white or cream shade available), backing furnishing items and using within creative projects to add a different texture and appearance.
It has also become popular as a Wholecloth Quilt Fabric.
