Muslin is a fine cotton fabric with a loose, relatively open weave. Ideal for dyeing, draping and manipulating muslin is popular across the creative spectrum.
For fashion design, it may be used as a light toile (choose Calico Fabric for a firmer alternative).
Creatively it can be dyed using a variety of dyes for fabulous results plus used to add texture to hangings, embroideries etc. Wonderfully easy to stitch into.
Practically, Muslin drapes beautifully for home furnishings.
